3/6 Watch microscopic life in action

This method is simple:  Bury a rice trap (a small container with some semi-cooked rice, covered by a plastic fine net) in a week you will see the mycelium of the local microbes growing in the rice. If you bring this to room temperature you can count the different groups and assess the diversity of them.

Compare the fungi of your soil with different reference soils in terms of diversity and behavior of the fungi.
